Raegos

Raegos, the Lord of the Deep, is an Avalar Divine. He dwells in the Lesser Seas, which are his domain. He is believed to safeguard the voyages of those who are loyal to him, calming the weather and fending off marine threats. Raegos is credited for the relative scarcity of large sea monsters in the Lesser Seas, for he is said to drive them back into the Outer Sea when they encroach upon his domain. 

Raegos resembles a tall, muscular man, narrow of hip and broad of shoulder, with a black beard, and wavy, black hair. His eyes are deep ocean blue. Raegos perhaps the most popular of the Avalar Divines, aside from Ereus, and is often revered as a patron deity in coastal settlements, or be entire seafaring cultures, such as Arcos. 

The nemesis of Raegos is Yorok, the great serpent.
